A vintage abacus constructed entirely of brass, defined by a long rectangular Fram and evenly spaced rows of turned beads. The surface shows a darkened patina developed through age and handling, which lends warmth to its otherwise precise geometry. 

This piece reads as a graphic, rhythmic, and architectural object. Its weight and material add a sculptural touch to a scholarly object.
